Encounter badge conditions
After the encounter, check for the matching badge on the Roblox account you played on. If it is missing, compare what happened with the action in the table. A Leviathan defeat and a Swordfish hit are different goals.

Before a harder fight
- Check your hull HP, current cannon slots and the last upgrade you made at port.
- Choose an encounter your ship can survive and keep a known port in mind. If you lose health faster than you can deal damage, pull back and address the bottleneck in Shipyard.
- When you meet an encounter with a named goal, confirm that you are fighting the right target. After a defeat, look for the specific badge.
Reputation milestones
Pirate boss is the badge for reaching −100 reputation. Liberty prime is the badge for reaching +100 reputation. Check your current standing before deciding which goal to pursue.
